Math Teacher Maria Rodgers, You're Ohio's Milken Educator!

 

Math teacher Maria Rodgers, holding the signature Milken Educator Award envelope embossed with her name, catches her breath during a quiet moment after her surprise notification. In addition to her classroom duties, Rodgers serves on building- and district-level committees for both instruction and day-to-day school operations. She has been involved in Milkovich’s continuous improvement efforts, leading changes in the school’s attendance policy and curriculum in both reading and math.
