TAP Master Teacher and Milken Award recipient Aimee Schade talks with students after her surprise notification as Glenda Ritz, Indiana's superintendent of public instruction, looks on. Schade often begins her lessons by talking about soccer, a favorite sport at West Goshen. Exploring common ground helps her connect quickly and build bridges with students of all ages—an important skill when guest-teaching in classrooms other teachers manage on a day-to-day basis.
