Retired after 31 years of classroom teaching and another 10 years of teaching workshops and writing test items, Patty Bell is now fully retired from education. She now is a student again, learning new things and expanding prior knowledge and pursuits. She continues to perform with local theatrical and musical groups. She walks 5-6 miles each day and enjoys the views of the mountains from her home.
