Dr. Jaclyn Lennox is the Assistant Principal of Curriculum and Instruction at Bolingbrook High School (BHS), where she has served in an administrative role for ten years. Beginning her career as a high school mathematics teacher, Dr. Lennox quickly earned a reputation for her dedication to student success, strong instructional leadership, and ability to build positive relationships with students and staff alike.
Known for her strong organizational skills, collaborative spirit, and unwavering dedication, Dr. Lennox values innovation over maintaining the status quo. She strives to empower educators, engage families, and create systems that foster both student and staff growth.
An innovative and data-driven leader, Dr. Lennox uses her classroom experience to guide decision-making that enhances teaching and learning across the school. She established BHS’s Academic Recovery Center, expanded work-based learning and career readiness opportunities, and increased Advanced Placement (AP) participation and visibility as the school’s AP Coordinator. Her leadership has contributed to measurable schoolwide growth, including a 4% decrease in student absenteeism and a 10% increase in the cohort graduation rate from 2023–2025, along with continued gains in AP exam participation and success.
Dr. Lennox leads the Building Improvement Team and co-chairs the Department Leadership Team, supporting curriculum alignment and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs). She mentors core content administrators, counselors, and teachers while visiting classrooms to analyze data, provide feedback, and plan targeted interventions.
A champion of communication and community engagement, Dr. Lennox manages multiple school newsletters, organizes key events such as graduation, registration, curriculum night, and family engagement programs, and maintains an open-door policy for students and families.
Dr. Lennox’s holistic approach to leadership reflects her belief that effective leaders bring out the best in others, which she exemplifies every day at Bolingbrook High School.
Dr. Lennox earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2009, a master’s in school leadership from Olivet Nazarene University in 2013, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Francis in 2022. A published author and member of the Illinois Principals Association, she is deeply committed to equity in education, ensuring that every student receives the academic and social-emotional support needed to reach their goals.
