Rachel Kinsaul (GA '24) Named Finalist for 2026 National Teacher of the Year

Rachel Kinsaul (GA '24), Morgan County High School agricultural science teacher and the 2026 Georgia Teacher of the Year, has been named one of five finalists for the 2026 National Teacher of the Year, as announced by the Council of Chief State School Officers. Kinsaul is recognized for her commitment to hands-on, career-connected learning that prepares students for success beyond the classroom, including innovative project-based experiences in agricultural education, entrepreneurship, and community service. As Georgia Teacher of the Year, she has elevated the voices of students and educators statewide while advocating for real-world learning opportunities that connect academics to life and work. Kinsaul now represents Georgia on the national stage as the finalist selection process continues this spring.
