Dr. Hector Ibarra (IA '93) Named 2011 Environmental and Public Health Ambassador

Dr. Hector Ibarra (IA '93) was named the 2011 Environmental and Public Health Ambassador for the State Hygienic Laboratory. He also helped his students to win first in the high school division and second place in the middle school division of the Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge. The high schoolers won for conducting an energy conservation audit of their high school, while the middle school students won for a project on radon awareness, testing and mitigation.
