Brian Allman (WV '19) Elected President of the West Virginia Council for the Social Studies

Brian Allman (WV '19) was recently elected President of the West Virginia Council for the Social Studies. He was one of five faculty members selected for the West Virginia Governor's School for Tourism (GST), a program that provides selected ninth and 10th grade students with a 10-day, hands-on exploration of West Virginia’s tourism and hospitality industries through travel, learning, and career discovery across the Mountain State. GST is a collaborative initiative between West Virginia University, Marshall University, West Virginia Department of Education, and the West Virginia Department of Tourism.
