Nancy Mounts (IA '93) passed away at age 77, having devoted more than two thirds of her life to educating our nation's youth.  In a career that began in 1958 and continued through 2011, Nancy was part of a change in education to be inclusive of and effective for every child. For her efforts to improve thousands of young lives throughout her tenure, Nancy was recognized as an Iowa Teacher of the Year, served as an Ambassador for Education in the state of Iowa and honored by multiple organizations and foundations.
