After her retirement, she served on the Metlakatla council, became a behavioral health service counselor for the Annette Island Service Unit, and directed the community's Teen Center and Head Start program. Linda represented the Metlakatla community on the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium Board of Directors for 14 years. • One of the finest most professional school board members I ever had the honor of serving with , who always placed the well being of the students above anything else. Her kindness and understanding of the complexities of a native community will always be etched in my fond memories of Linda. May God Bless and Keep You!
