As a high school English teacher for many years, Dr. Carol Virostek (CT ’91) cultivated a love of literature and writing in generations of students. After retirement, she continued to write, consult and serve on various boards.  In 2013, she was recognized at the Convention of the American Association of University Women in New Orleans with a named endowment for her years of work as National Chair of the College/University Relations Committee, and as an advocate for women in leadership roles.
