Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, has told the assembly that one teacher at Weinland Park is about to receive an important national award ... and it comes with a cash prize. But how much? One digit at a time, students hold up cards representing the amount of the Milken Educator Award. When Ohio Superintendent of Public Instruction Paolo DeMaria holds up the final zero, bringing the total to $25,000, students look to their friends in amazement.
