Math Teacher Tiffany Miera Wins CO Milken Award

Back in the classroom, Tiffany Miera dives right back into a math lesson with her fifth graders. She embraces innovative practices, always putting students’ needs first and encouraging them to take risks, try new things, think creatively and critically, and embrace a growth mindset. Needham’s fifth graders have risen in math proficiency from 25.4% in 2019 to 42.9% in 2022, outperforming both the district and state.
