Nicolas Jacques, You're a NV Milken Educator

Nevada Day commemorates the state's admission to the union, and Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak, First Lady Kathy Sisolak and Superintendent of Public Instruction Jhone Ebert are visiting Carson Middle School to celebrate. But there's another reason for the festive assembly. Lowell Milken, chairman and co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, names band teacher Nicolas Jacques the recipient of a 2019-20 Milken Educator Award. The career-changing honor is music to Mr. Jacques' ears!
