Inspired by the unexpected gift of attending the same professional learning opportunity, Milken Award recipients Aubrey Flowers (OK ‘21), Jennifer Fuller (TX ‘17), and Dr. Nader Twal (CA ‘03) considered the potential of an organized and intentional “Milken MeetUp” to forge new relationships and connections with Milken peers. A Milken MeetUp offers Milken Educators the invaluable opportunity to connect with Milken Educators from across the country to reflect, debrief, and process the information gained while attending a professional learning event. It also leverages the potential of networking with fellow Milken Award recipients to consider and apply innovative practices.
