CA Milken Educators Welcome Katie McQuone
Katie McQuone Botello (CA '19) | Sunnyside High School | Fresno, CA | Dec 10, 2019Graduation rates are up at Sunnyside High School, and Cindy Quiralte, policy advisor to the California superintendent of public instruction, is visiting to celebrate with students and staff. But there's another reason for her visit, which comes to light when she introduces Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards. When Dr. Foley presents video production teacher Katie McQuone with a 2019-20 Milken Award, the educator's life is forever changed.
