Good morning, Burke County High School! Georgia Department of Education Director of Literacy Amy Denty is visiting to celebrate the school’s achievements. However, there's another reason to celebrate! All is revealed when Stephanie Bishop, vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, presents math teacher Jeffery Heggs with a 2025-26 Georgia Milken Educator Award and $25,000.
