But then, a change of direction: Deputy Commissioner Chuhta introduces Stephanie Bishop, vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, who surprises social studies teacher Jamie Karaffa with a Maine Milken Award and $25,000! The day quickly becomes one teachers and students will remember forever.
