Courtney Matulka's smile lights up the gym at Beadle Middle School. Matulka is known for encouraging her science students to think beyond "Why?" to ask "What if?" Her creative teaching methods include relating mining to the chunks in chocolate chip cookies and leading Pictionary games focused on types of energy matter.
