NY Milken Educators Welcome Caitlin Garvey

Special education teacher Caitlin Garvey is overwhelmed with emotion as she sees her name printed on the oversized $25,000 Milken Educator Award check. Several of the people around her know exactly how she feels — Milken Educator Awards Vice President Stephanie Bishop (left) won the same Award in Virginia in 2001, and Rachel Tonkovich (NJ '10) and Andrew Franz (NY '17), who are holding Caitlin's check, each had a turn in the spotlight as well.
