Students help Dr. Jane Foley illustrate the financial prize that comes with a Milken Educator Award to the entire assembly—including unsuspecting principal Allyson Vitato, who’s probably wondering which of her teachers will win the prestigious award.

$2,500 does seem like a lot of money, but is that enough to make an impression that will last a lifetime? (Hint: the answer is in our next photo.)

Pictured, from left: Jefferson County Public Schools District Superintendent Donna M. Hargens, Ed.D.; Breckinridge-Franklin Elementary School Principal Allyson Vitato; Milken Educator Awards Senior Vice President Dr. Jane Foley (at microphone); and Milken Educator Ryan Williams (KY '12) (seated, far right).

In this series:  Allyson Vitato (KY '14)
