2026 MEA Forum: Milken Educators Leading the Way

 

 

National Institute for Excellence in Teaching Chief Executive Officer Dr. Joshua Barnett kicks off a panel on unleashing teacher leadership to improve student achievement, the cornerstone of the TAP System and the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching. TAP and NIET have had remarkable effects on educator effectiveness student achievement and preparation for success in life. Research shows TAP and NIET has led to students more likely to enroll in 12th grade and graduate high school on time, and less likely to be arrested before the age of 18 and rely on social welfare programs.
