"Thank you for recognizing our work as teachers and what we do every day," says Frankie Day after being surprised with a $25,000 Milken Educator Award. "This Award could have gone to every teacher in this school. I now teach in heaven with the most wonderful teachers and administrators. And finally, to my students.... You're the reason I come to school every day."
