The outstanding educator who is about to receive the Milken Educator Award also gets a cash prize. How much? Students hold up cards representing the amount of the Award, one digit at a time. When North Dakota Superintendent of Public Instruction Kirsten Baesler holds up the final zero, the crowd gets excited: that's $25,000!
