Milken Educator Award recipient Thomas Dennison hugs his daughter Samantha, a second-grader at Havre de Grace. Along with her cousin Lily, a first-grader (in yellow), Samantha participated as a student volunteer in the morning assembly, not knowing the whole thing was actually planned to honor her dad. Mike Milken, co-founder of the Milken Family Foundation, looks on.
