Melissa Kovac Joins New Mexico Milken Educators

Second-grade teacher Melissa Kovac can't believe what she's hearing and seeing: She has won New Mexico's 2016-17 Milken Educator Award, and Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, is pointing to a giant $25,000 check bearing Kovac's name.
