Melissa Kovac Joins New Mexico Milken Educators

When the audience quiets down, Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, says that she's heard that Kovac occasionally comes to school in a bee costume, and asks why. Replies Kovac: "Bees work together to keep their hive functioning and use teamwork. In our classroom, we are a team and work together to learn."
