Students often ask how studying math will help them in their lives. Here, a few volunteers—including Principal Mike Simmons—use numbers to illustrate the rewards of working hard and studying math. In fact, this $25,000 is about to go to a teacher who studied math at Athens City Middle School as a student not so long ago.
