Neil Anstead is both teacher and program coordinator of an integrated humanities curriculum at the Grover Cleveland High School Humanities Magnet in Los Angeles. He conceived and implemented a new curriculum which is now being followed in seven other schools in the district. Mr. Anstead teaches art history and humanities as an integrated curriculum, taking his students on frequent excursions to theaters and exhibitions and involving them in a one-week seminar at the Getty Museum.
