Mark Wagner is technology director and teacher of agriculture and technology to the high school students of Beulah Public School in Beulah. "Today's youth are our number one resource. The gratitude and self-satisfaction one derives from helping a young person achieve his or her goals is the best feelings an individual can have." Mr. Wagner takes special pride in the fact that several of his students have received National Future Farmers of America Degrees and served as state Future Farmers of America officers. Mr. Wagner has conducted numerous in-service workshops for his colleagues on subjects as diverse as computers, biotechnology, agriculture, journalism and leadership. He has also introduced the first aquaculture curriculum taught in North Dakota agriculture departments. An active leader in the community, Mr. Wagner has served as president to the Beulah Education Association, North Dakota Future Farmers of America Advisory Council and North Dakota the Vocational Association. In 1991, Mr. Wagner was named the North Dakota Agriculture Science Teacher of the Year.
