Personal Message

My message to other Milken Educators is genuine. After the wonderful celebration with other Milken Educator winners, I left feeling empowered! I soon pursued my masters degree in Education Administration . I found a renewed purpose in guiding our future educators in the Teacher Education Academy. My new role as the senior instructor at the TEACH Academy allows me to pass my love of teaching to a whole new generation of educators. The Milken Award made that all possible by inspiring me to believe that anything is possible! Surrounded by the high energy of all the 2003 Milken Educator Award recipients, I left re-dedicated to commit even more of myself to education. This award awakened and reaffirmed my belief in American Education as the only true solution and path to solving all the global challenges that await our next generation. A year does not go by in which I remind myself how fortunate I am to be a part of this remarkable Milken Family.
