Biographical Information

Dan Daniel is an English teacher and English Department chair at Parkersburg High School. He also serves as coordinator of fiber-optic interactive television for Wood County, a system connecting all of the county's high schools and the local branch of West Virginia University. Mr. Daniel won a grant to purchase a new computer system capable of interacting with multimedia equipment, and the curriculum-enhancing system he created now serves as a state demonstration site for multimedia computer technology. He is currently training other teachers to integrate this technology into their teaching of chemistry, art, music, and foreign laguages. Mr. Daniel was named Wood County's Teacher of the Year in 1975 and was West Virginia Language Arts Teacher of the Year in 1987.
