Yes, it's true — the North Star Academy teacher who's about to get a Milken Educator Award will also receive a cash prize. Student volunteers hold up cards showing the amount of the award, with Evo Popoff, New Jersey Department of Education chief innovation officer and assistant commissioner, bringing in the final zero. The grand total: $25,000!
