Rory Inouye Joins HI Milken Educators

 

 

Milken Educator Awards Founder Lowell Milken joins in as Rory Inouye calls his parents to share the good news, reliving the excitement all over again. Rory's parents are both teachers, so they understand right away how important this recognition is! "I'm so honored to be the parent of a Milken Award winner," his mom says.

"Both of my parents inspired me to be a teacher," Rory said after the assembly. "I see the way they are in the community outside of the classroom. The sense of belonging and giving back, for me, growing up was always something cool."
