Assistant Principal Megan Park Joins WY Milken Educators

 

Megan Park catches her breath during a quiet moment after her surprise Milken Educator Award notification. Megan's enthusiasm for education is evident in her wide impact at Gannett Park Elementary School. She has brought a data-driven mindset to the school's professional learning community (PLC) and is active on the school’s leadership team and school improvement teams. A former classroom and special education teacher, her impact is wide-reaching, from mentoring student teachers to empowering colleagues. "I try to lead knowing what it felt like to be in that position not too long ago, she says. "You've got to have everyone's well-being at the core of your heart."
