Kelly Ryan, You're a Louisiana Milken Educator!

 

 

"Greatness in education should be recognized," Lowell Milken, founder of the Milken Educator Awards, tells students and staff. He says he created the Milken Educator Award because talented teachers don't receive nearly enough recognition for preparing students to take on the world. That's why each year the Milken Family Foundation travels the country looking for outstanding educators. He shares that this year, out of three million teachers in the U.S., someone right here at Northshore High School is about to receive a national award and a large cash prize.
