Jenelle Bryant Joins DC Milken Educators

 

 

Reading specialist Jenelle Bryant shares some thoughts with the students and colleagues who just watched her Milken Award surprise. "I need some of my kiddos to pinch me, because I feel like I'm in a dream!" she says. She tells students that she became an educator because of her third grade teacher and her mother, who is also an educator. "My family are immigrants, and I am my grandparents' dream," says Jenelle. "You can do anything you want to do, just like I'm doing what I want to do."
