What’s happening at Bacon Academy? There’s an all-school assembly everyone is excited about. The reason for the assembly became clear when Dr. Jane Foley, senior vice president of the Milken Educator Awards, surprised career and technical education teacher David Mason with a 2025-26 Connecticut Milken Educator Award and $25,000! Connecticut Commissioner of Education Charlene M. Russell-Tucker joined the celebration to honor Mason in front of students, colleagues, dignitaries and media.
