The Milken Educator Award is accompanied by a cash prize! One digit at a time, students hold up cards representing the amount of the Award. When Connecticut Education Commissioner Charlene M. Russell-Tucker gives one Gainfield student the final zero, there's an audible gasp in the audience: $25,000 is a lot of money!
