Social Studies Teacher Alex Lahasky Wins KS Milken Award

 

 

Kansas Commissioner of Education Dr. Randy Watson greets the assembly at Blue Valley West High School. "We're so excited today to celebrate the excellence that you're achieving in the classroom," he tells students. Turning the focus to Blue Valley's teachers, he remarks, "none of us could be here without your dedication to this outstanding profession and each of the students here." Then, to everyone's surprise, he introduces another guest who has traveled from Southern California to share a secret.
