"I moved here from Dallas to be a student teacher. And I didn't think I'd be here this long but I just love it," says second-grade teacher Maggie Calagna to students and colleagues after being surprised with a $25,000 Milken Educator Award. "I'm thankful to my colleagues and the parents and all the students here." Standing behind her is Texas Commissioner of Education Robert Scott.
