Wheeling Principal Andrea Trio Wins WV Award

 

 

Principal Andrea Trio steps to the microphone again, this time to address the students, colleagues and visitors who just witnessed her Milken Educator Award surprise. "This envelope says 'The future belongs to the educated,' " she tells students, reading the Milken Educator Award motto from the signature blue envelope embossed with her name. "You all sitting on the floor, you know how much I love you, right? I have to thank you for believing in me, because you are the reason I do what I do every day. When I promised to do my best as the principal of Madison Elementary School, I meant that with my whole heart. I believe in you. We're going to continue to try our best, and good things are going to come our way."
