The teacher who is about to receive Florida's 2019-20 Milken Educator Award will also get a cash prize. How much? One digit at a time, students hold up cards representing the amount of the Award. When Jacob Oliva, chancellor for the Florida Department of Education's Division of Public Schools, holds up the third zero, the room starts to hum. That makes $25,000!
