Jessica Villanueva Wins CA Milken Award

 

 

The staff at Suisun Elementary gathers for a group photo at second-grade teacher Jessica Villanueva's surprise Milken Educator Award notification. A district mentor who advises new teachers both at her grade level and in special education, Villanueva is highly respected by her colleagues. She serves on numerous school teams, including the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) team and English Language Development (ELD) implementation team, and has planned and presented professional development showcasing her renowned classroom management techniques.
