Tracy Espiritu is stunned! Public recognition for doing the work she loves, a $25,000 Milken Educator Award check from Milken Family Foundation Co-Founder Mike Milken—the only one from New Jersey for 2014–15—and being announced by New Jersey First Lady Mary Pat Christie would have that effect on anyone. And did we mention it's her birthday?
