Even as a Language Arts teacher, Mark Julien relies on data to improve student performance. Here are some new numbers reflective of his own performance, courtesy of the Milken Family Foundation:  eight fellow Milken Educators representing the 2,600-strong network that he is now a part of, one state board member, and one giant check for $25,000.

Pictured, from left: Brian Langley (MI ’07), Julie Helber (MI ’00), Dr. Helen Arnold-Massey (IL '95), Jennifer Murphy (MI ’02), Mark Julien (MI ’13), Patricia Paxton (MI ’10), Catherine Einhaus (MI ’08), Dr. Jane Foley (IN ’94), State Board Member Dr. Richard Zeile and Juleen Jenkins-Whall (MI ’11).
