After 34 years in public education, I have retired at the age of 56. I retired from the Sharon Public Schools in MA where I was proud to serve as the district's Superintendent of Schools for six years. Prior to assuming the superintendent job, I served Sharon as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. As much as I loved each job I have had during the past 34 years, I felt it was time to move on and to do something else. I have begun to write, and I am serving as a strategic planning consultant, as well as a mentor/coach for new principals. This work is very rewarding and it provides me some "free" time to write, to travel, and to enjoy family.
For some reason I was unable to add my credentials in the credential section. Therefore, I will share that my BS is from the University of Maine at Orono; my M.ED is from Rivier College; and my doctoral work was completed at the University of Rhode Island where I remain at the ABD status.
