Biographical Information

Stephen Kimball teaches drama and theatre at Francis Howell Central High School in St. Charles, Missouri. He has taught in the Hazelwood School District in St Louis since 1995, having first taught eighth-grade English at Kirby Junior High School. He taught drama at Hazelwood East High School from 2000 -2004. Mr Kimball is the first male teacher in the state of Missouri to achieve National Board Certification, which he received in the fall of 2000 in Early Adolescence - English/Language Arts. He now works extensively with other National Board Certified Teachers in the St. Louis area to promote the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. Mr. Kimball earned his bachelor's degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and holds a master's degree in Educational Administration from Lindenwood University. He lives in St. Charles and has a three year-old son named Madoc.
