Teaches pre-first grade at Northside Elementary School in Churchill County School District. This developmental first grade class, designed by Ms. Adams at her principal's request, serves as a bridge between kindergarten and first grade for students in need of special attention. To further her work in the innovation program, Ms. Adams has received a mini-grant from the Nevada Gaming Foundation and a "Good Ideas Grant" from the Nevada State Education Association. She was named Outstanding Teacher by Churchill County PTA in 1984, Northside School Teacher of theYear, and Teacher of the Year by the Churchill County Education Association in 1987 and in 1988.
