Margaret Reynolds's inexhaustible energy can be seen in all aspects of her teaching at Park View Elementary School and in her work outside the classroom as well. She fosters learning in her children through such creative projects as a detailed study of earthquakes and the construction of a giant "peace quilt" representing each student's understanding of the meaning of peace. Parents are well informed about their children's progress through constant contact with Ms. Reynolds. By utilizing a number of volunteers, sharing ideas with fellow teachers, and displaying a love of teaching, Ms. Reynolds inspires an atmosphere of teamwork, accentuating the importance of education in a collaborative environment.
