Biographical Information

Lawrence Frost, who has been selected as Favorite Teacher for three years in a row by his students, teaches geography, world history and ethnic diversity at George Walton Comprehensive High School in Marietta. Throughout his 23 years as an educator, Mr. Frost has worked at the county and school level to expand and update curricula to keep pace with advances in education and to accurately reflect the increasing ethnic diversity of the community. Mr. Frost also leads a summer program in Europe, and the 40 to 50 students who participate regularly return with an increased interest in the acquisition of foreign languages and with the intention of attending European universities. Mr. Frost is also actively pursuing multiple-format education strategies in an effort to create improved learning conditions for students affected by Attention Deficit Disorder.
